As with our hemp extract, we believe that natural ingredients are better for you. As a lipophilic compound, salicylic acid is soluble in oil, helping to combat conditions like acne and blackheads. But that’s only half the story. The real reason we had to include salicylic acid in three of our four CBD skincare formulations is because of its ability to act as a gentle exfoliant. It does this by dissolving the connective structures, called desmosomes, that form between skin cells. This allows the outer layer of dead or dying cells to fall away, leaving newer, smoother skin in its place.Sodium Hyaluronate
